The 1st National Conference on Mathematical Geometry

Advancing research in mathematical geometry and promoting collaboration between theoretical and applied disciplines.

Strengthening national research in mathematical geometry is essential to promote scientific excellence, innovation, and collaboration between theoretical and applied disciplines. The objectives of MG-2026 are centered on advancing the field of mathematical geometry through: Showcase recent advances in Riemannian structures, differential geometry, analysis, and algebra on manifolds; Explore innovative applications of artificial intelligence in mathematical research; Provide a forum for researchers to exchange knowledge and best practices; Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across geometry, analysis, algebra, and computational sciences; Identify current challenges and emerging research directions in modern geometry. The program will include keynote lectures, research presentations, thematic sessions, and scientific discussions designed to promote high-level academic exchange and collaboration. MG-2026 is open to undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students, academic researchers, research laboratories, and specialists working in geometry, analysis, algebra, and AI-driven mathematical modeling.

MG-2026 seeks to:

Keynote Speakers

Geometry of submanifold

Prof. Mohamed Belkhelfa is a Professor at the Faculty of Exact Sciences at University of Mustapha Stambouli Mascara. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from KU Leuven, specializing in Differential Geometry. His research focuses on the geometry of submanifolds, manifold structures (including contact, Sasaki, Kähler, and Kenmotsu structures), pseudo-symmetry in the sense of R. Deszcz, Thurston geometry, and manifolds with density.

Prof. Belkhelfa has supervised 16 Master’s theses and 13 doctoral dissertations, served as an external examiner for numerous candidates, and published 41 research articles along with 10 refereed conference papers. He has participated in over 50 scientific events, led five research projects, serves as a journal referee and editorial board member of the Tensor Society, and has conducted research visits to more than 25 universities worldwide.

Prof. Seddik Ouakkas is a full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Dr Tahar Moulay – Saïda. He holds a Doctorat ès Sciences in Mathematics with a specialization in differential geometry, following earlier degrees including a Magister in differential geometry and a DES in Mathematics.

His academic work includes teaching core mathematical subjects such as curves and surfaces, affine and Euclidean geometry, algebra, analysis, and differential geometry. He has supervised numerous theses in geometry and related areas, and his research has been presented at international scientific meetings, reflecting his active contribution to the mathematical community in geometry and related fields.

Professor ُEl hendi Hichem Professor and Research Scholar in the Department of Mathematics at Tahri Mohamed Bechar University in Algeria. His research is primarily focused on Differential Geometry, with additional expertise in Algebra and Statistics. He has authored several research publications in these fields.
